Lake Bound

Cara, Blair, Mike and Jeanie headed out to the lake on Saturday. The girls had a great time riding "Big Bertha" and feeding the carp. Wish Areta could've been there!

Hard Rock Cafe

Here's what Hill and I did last night. I've been a collector of Hard Rock pins for many years so we finally have a display.This will look "so me" hanging near my Thomas Kinkade collection!!Frankly my dear...After we finished and used over 100 of my pins, Mike asked "how much do these pins cost?"We have pins from Dallas, DC, and San Fran to Singapore, China, Phillipines, Italy, and Northern Europe.He is so proud of this unique display. Stockholm, Sweden

Stockholm is built across 14 islands, this capital city of graceful bridges linked by boats is famous for its unique geography, architecture and the home of the Nobel Prize. Today, July 7th, mom and dad are in Stockholm. I got this email from mom this morning, "Bur r r. Have to wear jeans, silk tneck and my new st andrews wind vest and carry my coat today in stockholm. Hooray. I'm cooled off now. The ship is so close to the little islands and rock piles as we navigate into stockholm. I could hit a pitching wedge to the land. Rainy off and on, more like a heavy mist. Should be a fun 5 hours on shore. No group tour for mr hill and me!" Sounds like they are having a great time and finally getting to enjoy some cooler temperatures!

London School of Economics

Today, July 3rd, Blair will start summer school at The London School of Economics. She will be taking a couple business and accounting classes. Good luck B! Hope Arkansas taught you enough to survive over there! If not, remember all you need is a C to transfer the credit and not the grade!

Sister Act

Blair's two favorite movies of all time are Sister Act and Sister Act 2. I swear she can say and sing every single line of both movies! Today, July 2, Blair will see Sister Act the Musical in London! I hope she doesn't start singing and get kicked out, or maybe even asked up on stage!

St Andrews

Today they visited the famous St Andrews Golf Course. Golf has been played on the Links at St Andrews since around 1400 AD and the Old Course is renowned throughout the world as the Home of Golf.

Tonight they are staying in this hotel in Edinburgh:

Tomorrow they are headed back to London!

Edinburgh - Day 2

Looks like they started the day off right with yummy breakfast...

...but not so fast. The yummy food you see actually includes some sheep intestines...

...which would explain why nobody would sit with her on the bus tour (thank goodness it was open air, right?!) Mom also tried to pick up this hottie in his skirt.........but this guard at the castle stopped her......lucky for her she didn't get into trouble and was able to see the castle at sunset......and then get to sleep next to this hottie...
